Janet Campbell (FCCA MBA) is an acclaimed Senior Project Accountant. With a career spanning Finance, Technology Transformation and Cloud Technology cost optimisation, she now operates as an independent consultant. She has successfully delivered Technology cost optimisation objectives on banking transactions from mergers and acquisitions, IPO (Initial Public Offering) to major cloud provider re-negotiations.

- Reduced Lloyds Banking Group’s cloud operating costs by more than £15m by creating models to confirm the impact of insourcing specific tasks, offshoring appropriate deliverables and smarter sequencing of migrations from legacy to cloud-based infrastructure.
- Reduced technology costs by more than £30m by utilising Challenger bank benchmarking data to develop a comprehensive Target Operating Cost Model, with timescales for the rightsizing of central functions, for the newly created TSB bank.
This included identifying areas where processes could be streamlined in line with Challenger Bank competitors. - Collaborated with budget-holders to create the first annual cost budget for the newly created TSB Bank (£700m). Led the first annual, regulatory stress testing compliance of the bank’s cost base which involved demonstrating how the bank would reduce its costs in response to a defined set of changes to market conditions. Reviewed outputs with PwC and institutional investors.
